So, one must take a good quantity of fresh fruits everyday in a week. The fruits must however be taken between mealtimes that is between the lunch and the dinner times.

Taking fresh vegetables

Moreover, one must also take a good amount of fresh vegetables daily at mealtimes that are during lunch and dinner time. However, one must not mix any protein diets with starch.

Restricting the intake of meat

People usually like to eat meat very much. But it must be said that meat usually contain lots of fats. Thus it would not be so good for an over weighted person to take meat. So those who want to lose weight must not take meat regularly. One must take meat only for four to five servings per week. This actually signifies that one must also take several vegetables in an equal proportion like that of the meat usually consumed by him or her.

One may ask that what must be taken in place of meat. Yes, they can take legumes in place of meat. But the person must not start taking legumes all of a sudden. The person should have it slowly, day by day. A person may also take peas, lentils dry beans in place of meat.

Intake of drinking water

One should drink water while having food. If he or she is too thirsty, then the person must have water after ten minutes of completing his food.

Proportion of meal

It has been suggested that one must not have three big meals thrice a day. It would be better to take small meals throughout the day.Infact; less intake of food helps one to maintain the level of calorie in the body.

Intake of beverages

Tea coffee may contain cream, pop, juices and sugar. These things actually increase the body weight of a person. So it has been advised to take three to four glasses of plane water, instead of tea and coffee. Infact plane drinking water helps check dehydration and keeps the body well.

Physical exercises

It has been suggested that to lose weight one must do physical exercises for about thirty to sixty minutes per day.

Intake of alcohol

To lose weight one must not have any alchohol.Alchohol contains too much of calories to the body. As a result, the weight of a person may increase.
